I recently spent 1 week in Bali and let me tell you it was not enough! I could have stayed for weeks! However, if you only have 1 week in Bali, feel free to steal my ultimate 1 week Bali itinerary!

Arrive into Denpasar International Airport and transfer to your accommodation. Check-in and relax or start exploring the area straight away! Chances are you’ll be visiting your nearest convenience store to stock up on water and other necessities.

Afterwards, visit a coffee plantation where you can take a tour learning about various beans and also do a coffee tasting – delicious!

Then, as part of your tour, head to a waterfall and then Tegallalang rice terraces where you can walk around or pay extra to swing over the terraces.

This afternoon, attend a silver jewellery making class (I also booked this through the Klook app). Spend an hour making your own unique piece of jewellery to take home as a souvenir.

This morning, do the Camphuan Ridge walk, a scenic walk in Ubud seeing rice paddies and nature. Stop at one of the many restaurants/cafes and enjoy some food or a drink overlooking the rice paddies.

Then, walk back until you reach Ubud Market. Here you can buy souvenirs, clothing and “designer” items.

This afternoon, head to Sanur Harbour where you will board your fast boat to Nusa Lembongan Island. When you arrive on the island you will be met my many people waiting at the beach asking if you need a taxi. Transfer to your new accommodation and reset.

This evening, get a taxi to Pantai Jungut Beach. Along the beach, there are many restaurants to choose from. Take your pick and enjoy the sunset!

Today do a snorkelling tour around Nusa Penida / Lembongan Island. Again, I booked this through the Klook app which is great if you are looking to book in advance.

The specific tour I chose visited 4 different spots including Manta Bay where you can swim with Manta Rays. This is very dependent on conditions and whether the Manta Rays are around that day. Unfortunately, I didn’t see any this time although I did get to swim with a turtle and many colourful fish!

This afternoon, enjoy lunch at one of the instagrammable restaurants overlooking the water, relax on the beach or explore the little shops around town.

Today go on a day trip to Nusa Penida Island to visit Broken Bay, Kelingking Beach and Crystal Bay. I actually booked this tour last minute through my hostel. This meant that you went on the tour with people from other hostels around the island. This was so much fun and a really great way to meet like-minded people!

This evening, watch the sunset at a beach bar with your new found friends or take time to yourself to enjoy your last night on this beautiful island.

Today is what you make it. You can either catch the fast boat back to Bali in the morning or afternoon. I personally left in the afternoon. I spent the day at a beach club/restaurant, listened to the waves, caught up with family, and just relaxed as I had just had a massive couple of days!

This afternoon, catch your fast boat back to Bali and transfer to your final accommodation in Uluwatu. Spend the remainder of the day exploring and finding a nice restaurant to eat at!

If you like pilates you need to do a pilates class at Ulu Cliffhouse! This is no ordinary pilates class. It is an outdoor experience overlooking the ocean. I suggest booking this in advance through their website. I also had breakfast included in my ticket so after the class I got to enjoy the scenery even more.

Afterwards, spend your day at leisure exploring the shops, securing the last of your souvenirs or head to one of the many beaches.

This evening, watch the sunset. Uluwatu is set on cliffs so there are a few different lookouts and restaurants that have the best sunset views!

Today is departure day. Depending on your flight time, spend the day at the beach, get in some last minute shopping and eat at your favourite places!

Later, head to the airport. I personally, paid to get into the lounge to have a shower after a long beach day! Such a treat to end the best trip!

So, there you have it. The ultimate 1 week Bali Itinerary. I hope you have the best time! Let me know in the comments if you like this itinerary or how you would change it to tailor it to you!
